FOUBLE aka double the fun!!

So today we had the act called fouble! In the email, it stated the act was named so because we would have loads of fun! Also since this was the last official act before the new sec 1s arrive, it was suppose to be out of this world and absolutely, fantastically and awesomely fun! But it didn't turn out like what we expected. So basically the j1s had many activities planned out for us to do! And they all started with f. (ps. When the j1s announced that everything started with the letter f, everyone started to shriek in laughter unknowingly) anyways the first f was fitness. We all dreaded pt, but they said that this was suppose to be fun pt. We had combined pt of the sec2 and sec3 batches. It was rare to have such occasions like that. We had a bit of running and yi ming just had to call hap horseshoe at the end of the bridge closer to the junior block. The sec3s were lagging behind, trying to support the laggers at the back. Unfortunately, yi Ming started to bole his almightily whistle and everyone started counting. Then we started clearing! So fun right.... We did crunches and pushups. Then more running. We had barely a time to catch our breathes before yi ming sped off again. Then we had guai lan running throughout raja block. Doing some crab walk across raja block up and down the levels. Then yi Ming blew a horseshoe at the base of raja block. Everyone all chiong there like some mad dog. Then we did various exercises to cross the raja field. Including push up walk, leopard crawl, piggy backs and other random variations of exercises invented to hurt the likes of the entire sec 3 batch. We were all aching from head to toe because we crawled over the screwed up grass known as the raja field. After doing so, we had the next f. Footdrill. Sad life ttm. Anyways, my batch did the foot drills at the raffles square. And then moving to the raja block foyer to continue. We learnt some new turn while marching, involving some t, l and v turning sequences. Most of us all struggled to get the new turn correct. After this we had to do the next f. Flagstaff. Hawk and owl paired up in unison to build the flagstaff. My batch always has difficulty with the building of structures. So the flagstaff kind of failed. The top part failed because it was too unstable since the knots were tied too close together. The bottom knot failed too because we tied it with one pole bulging out, thus making the flagstaff rather flimsy. In the end, all of our flagstaffs were not up to par to be erected. Hence, we could not complete the act with the finale, which was the final f. We were suppose to do some war game with some foot drill techniques and the flagstaffs were supposed to be our bases. Also due to the lack of time and the increased time we had to spend on footdrill caused the delay. So we ended act pretty late after keeping all the poles. The sec ones will be arriving into our patrol on Monday. Everyone do welcome them in open arms and we should impart our scouting knowledge to them like how sutc is awesome and how Gtc is too easy for buff people like them. That shall be it for today so see you guys in Monday!
